"Thru Our Eyes Photography" is a locally owned small business based out of Rapid City, South Dakota.
Ron’s love of photography moved with him from Las Vegas, Nevada to the Black Hills of South Dakota. He never dreamed he would be hiding behind blinds watching grouse dance, climb Harney Peak or listening for elk. He also didn’t realize he would meet his future wife, a South Dakota native from Watertown, who had been raised with photography in her blood. Working in her family darkroom and helping her dad with his home-based photography business, Kathy always kept a camera close by for an unexpected shot.
Photography became a shared interest for them and their home-based business, “Thru Our Eyes Photos” was born. Their philosophy is that everyone sees things from their own perspectives and their images are the way they saw them. Although their images are all digital, enhancement is only minimal as they believe they can hardly improve on nature. They strive to give others the opportunity to see images they might not have the chance to see.
They have had images published in the South Dakota Magazine and their work may be seen in giftshops throughout the state.
“Sharing the beauty of South Dakota through nature, wildlife and people” is the mission of “Thru Our Eyes Photos”, as Ron and Kathy Linton enjoy living in this beautiful state.
